Make memories, and savor the last few years of your teen living at home
Your teen may be addicted🤦to their phone📱, but…
No judgment here, but admit it…
You might be guilty🙋 of the very thing you’re constantly on your teen about🤔:
Do you sleep with your phone📱 under your pillow?
Was it the last thing you looked at last night – and the first thing you looked at this morning?
And when you’re too tired to get into the “phone📱 battle🤺” with your teen, do you sometimes just join them on the couch and bury yourself in your phone, too?
Regulating cell phone use is hard these days. After all, it’s your clock🕒, camera📸, calculator📊, organizer📒, email📧… some of us can even do our entire jobs🧑💻 on our phones!
But the truth is, you can’t ask your teenager to cut down 📴 on phone usage if you aren’t willing to do the same📵. (And if you dare to do this, they will certainly call you on it!)
And by dedicating so many hours⏳ to cell phones, you’re all missing out on countless opportunities to connect👨👩👧👦, make memories, and savor the last few years of your teen living at home🏡. (If your teenager leaves🧳 home when they’re 18 and if today your child is 13, you only have about 300 weekends 😳 to spend with them! 15 = 200 weekends 🥺. 17? Less than 100 weekends 😱 )
